Grading Guidelines

• Unless otherwise stated, homeworks will be due on Thursday of the following week.
• Only one homework is required from each group. Please work with your group, not between groups.
• Make sure that everyone in your group contribues and understands the math involved in each problem set. After all, you will be tested on this individually later in the semester (during those dreaded midterms).
• Homework will be graded on a scale between 0 and 10. On average I'll grade two-three problems from the homework, which will be worth mostly between two-three points. An extra point or two (depending on the number of problem) will be given for a completing all problems.
• Homework will be graded on a scale between 0 and 10. I'll grade most, if not all, of the problems and grade accordingly. Incomplete homeworks will not receive full credit. Late homeworks will not be graded.
• Summary: Do the homework, do it well, do it on time, and you'll have no trouble with the homework part of your grade.
