The Math 312 common final exam was on Wed., Dec. 16, and covered the full material of the course. The median score among students in Lecture 2 was 87 (out of 150), which was a B-. (Among all students in both lectures of Math 312, the median was 91, which was a B.) Students tended to lose points on the last few problems, covering material subsequent to Exam 2.
The cut-offs on the exam were as follows:
Grades are being computed so that the final exam will count as one-third of the grade; the two exams during the semester will together count as one-third; and the homeworks will count as one-third.
