This might remind you of the problem we did a couple weeks
ago about making change for 50 cents. And it is similar, in the
sense that you need to make a systematic list of all the combinations
of three coins.
But before you start, think ahead: If $5 is greater, then you will
have to list all the coin possibilities and add them up to prove it.
But if the total of the coin possibilities is greater, you only have
to list enough of them to add up to more than $5. So, in the course
of making your systematic list, you will want to list the biggest
combinations (like three quarters for 75 cents) first.
