7:45 am December 19: Grades are posted here. I'll get them up to Penn in Touch later today. Note: There updates on the grading scale for the second midterm.
There are two "see your grade" panels below. The first is for exam grades and the second is for homework and quiz grades.
Scale for the final exam:
A/A-: 64-100; B+/B/B-: 40-63; C+/C/C-: 27-39
Scale for the second midterm:
A/A-: 38-60 36-60 ; B+/B/B-:
30-37 29-35 ;
C+/C/C-: 21-29 21-28
Scale for the first midterm:
A/A-: 72-80 ; B+/B/B-: 50-71 ; C+/C/C-: 39-49
To start the search in either panel, fill in the information and click OK. If your (first or last) name contains spaces, replace the spaces with hyphens. For instance, if your first name is Chao Liang, then input Chao-Liang). Or sometimes I just deleted the spaces. I also deleted apostrophes (as in O'Hare -- try OHare). You may have to try a few variations to get it right. If you have trouble, just e-mail me.
Note that your password is ALL 8 DIGITS of your Penn ID number (the middle number at the bottom of your Penn ID card).
When you get your grades there will be five rows with three columns. In each row, the first column has your score, the second column has the class average and the third column has the maximum number of points available.
The first row contains the score for the first midterm, the second row contains the score for the second midterm, the third row contains the score for the final exam, the fourth row contains the overall recitation (homework+quizzes etc) score, and the fifth row contains your grade in the course.
