This searches all the books in the Mathematics Department Reading Room Catalog. The data base contains Author, Title, Publisher, Subject, Call Number, ISBN, Date and a few other items. Fill in your search patterns (words or word fragment).

Case Sensitive?

Example:
pattern1: siegel
pattern2: numb
finds items with "siegel" AND "numb" in the author, title, subject, or elsewhere in the catalog listing.

Many searches will leave this second pattern empty.
Matching items must have both patterns (hint: place the least likely pattern first).
Each pattern is treated as a phrase -- as if enclosed by quotation marks (thus blank spaces must also match).
Accented characters? Use .*
Example: K.*hler matches Kahler , Kähler , Kaehler , and kahlerinnes .
For ISBN, insert no spaces or "-".
